RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. a Mini Ratna PSU of the Ministry of Railways, invites applications from qualified, young and energetic candidates for the following posts for its National Optic Fiber Network (NOFN) projects as per details given below:

Tenure of the contract: Initially for 3 years from the date of joining: extendable further on mutual consent. However, RailTel may curtail /extend the tenure of contract or terminate the contract at any point of lime depending upon project requirements and performance of the candidate. In this regard the decision of the management shall be final.
Qualification & Experience
Graduation from any stream. Proficiency in MS Office (MS word, MS Excel and Power Point) will be a pre-requisite.
5 years' working experience as Office Assistant /Office Supervisor, in office administration / tendering/ evaluation /work award/ inventories of material/ material movement, project progress/ payments to contractors/ staff salaries and other issues pertaining to staff, in any Central/State Govt. Department or Central/State PSU on regular /contract/outsourced basis. Candidates having working experience in any of the offices of RailTel will have added advantage.
Medical Standards: Selected candidates will be required to pass the requisite medical fitness tests/standards, as adopted by RailTel. before their appointment.
Selection procedure: The selection will be made through Computer proficiency test of qualifying nature and interview of short-listed candidates at a place to be decided by RailTel.
Application Processing Fee: Rs.200/- for General & OBC category (Rs.100 for SC & ST category) by Demand Draft drawn on any scheduled bank in favour of RailTel Corporation of India, Ltd. Gurgaon payable at Gurgaon.

RESULT OF 2ND STAGE WRITTEN EXAMINATION DATED 18.08.2013, APTITUDE TEST DATED 11.01.2014 & 13.01.2014 FOR ASSISTANT STATION MASTER AND TYPING SKILL TEST DATED 12.01.2014 FOR JR. ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT CUM TYPIST & SR. CLERK CUM TYPIST AND DATES FIXED FOR DOCUMENT VERIFICATION FOR THE FOLLOWING NTPC CATEGORIES
On the basis of 2nd Stage Written Examination held on 18.08.2013 and Aptitude Test on 11.01.2014 and 13.01.2014 for the post of Assistant Station Master, Typing Skill Test on 12.01.2014 forthe post of Jr. Accounts Assistant Cum Typist and Sr. Clerk Cum Typist at Jammu against CEN-03/2012 dated 12.05.2012, the candidates bearing the following Roll Nos. have been found provisionally eligible for documents verification for NTPC graduate categories. The dates of documents verification is indicated below. The roll numbers of extra candidates (around 50% over and above the merit list) are included / separately indicated.
Candidates are required to attend the office of Railway Recruitment Board, Jammu as per date of document verification indicated above, with their original certificates and marks sheets (semester wise / year wise) of Educational /Technical qualifications, Caste certificates, Proof of age, J&K resident to bring original State Subject Certificate etc. and also their Photostat copies attested by a Gazetted Officer, for verification. If any of the above candidate does not get letter for document verification must also attend this office for document verification as per above schedule. The candidates belonging to OBC Community, should bring original caste certificates in the prescribed format of the central Govt., issued for the current year and valid on the date of verification of certificates, the caste certificates should be current and should have clause of non-creamy layer. Candidates should come with all the documents in original. The candidates who do not posses the requisite qualifications, as noted while document verification, their candidature shall stand cancelled / rejected.
The above results include 50% (approx.) more candidates (for NTPC graduate categories) than the actual number of vacancies, as indicated separately above. The purpose of calling 50% candidates over and above the number of vacancies at the time of document verification is primarily to avoid shortfall in the panels and that merely calling a candidate for document verification does not, in any way, entitle him to an appointment in the railways. Though the letters to individual candidates are being sent through Registered/Speed Post but RRB will not be responsible for the postal delay or wrong delivery, if any. While every care has been taken in preparing the above result, the possibility of inadvertent errors cannot be ruled out. This Board does not undertake responsibility for such errors and reserve the right to rectify the same later on.
