♦ Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Candidate

Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the SSC (Std.X) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with minimum 35% marks in aggregate with subjects Math/Mathematics, General Science and English.

Note:-

• Term Aggregate is defined separately for State Board/ICSE and CBSE candidates in the Information Brochure. Candidates are advised to read online information brochure available on http://www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/poly2014 before purchasing application kit.

• For State Board Candidates who have passed Mathematics (Code 71) and Science & Technology (Code 72) are only eligible for admission.

• In case of ICSE & CBSE boards, candidate passed with English, Science and Mathematics is eligible for admission (for additional information refer information Brochure).

• In case of CBSE candidates, who have passed CBSE Std X school level examination shall not be eligible for diploma admissions, as school exam is not treated equivalent/at par exam of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education

Availability of Application Kit, Information brochure and other details

Application Kit will be available for sale at the cost of Rs. 400/- for General Category candidates (Rs 300/- for Reserved Category & Persons with disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in Cash at all Application form Receipt Centres (ARCs). No other mode of payment shall be permitted. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. List of ARC is available on website.

It is mandatory for the aspiring candidates to procure the Application Kit from ARC. The Application Kit consists of Application ID and Password, by which the candidate shall be able to fill the Online Application Form.

Aspiring candidates will be able to submit Online Application form through the web site www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/poly2014 through any computer connected to Internet once the Application ID is activated by the ARC from where Application Kit is purchased. Submission of the application form in response to this admission notification will amount to accepting the aforesaid rules & regulations unequivocally by the applicant and upon such submission it will be presumed that the applicant agrees and accepts these rules & regulations as legal, valid and correct. It will not be open for any applicant, once having submitted the application form to question the legality, validity and correctness of these rules & regulations.
