THE IIT Joinl Admission Board (JAB) at a crucial meeting here on Sunday agreed 10 continue with the same pattern tor the IIT-JEE examination 2014 for one more year.
The hoard made a detailed review of the new pattern of the two-tier Joint Entrance Examination, which was implemented this year, and was of the view that the pattern should be continued next year as well for a closer assessment of the system. sources said. JAB comprises heads of the various campuses of the premier technological institute. The meeting came in the wake of reports that there could be some changes in eligibility criteria for admission to IITs 2014 JEE Exam. According to sources, some of the IIT directors had met HRD Minister M Pallam Raju here last week to discuss a proposal to ease percentile cut-offs for entry into an IIT.
IIT aspirants in Andhra Pradesh. Kerala and Tamil Nadu, and those belonging to national boards like CBSE, had to contend with high cutoffs this year under the new format for admissions. The cut-offs for AP and TN were above 90 per cent this year.

Notification Regarding CWE PO/MT-II : Allotment process for Public Sector Banks etc. against vacancies of PO / MT for 2013-14

Allotment process for CWE PO/MT-II (vacancies of Probationary Officers/Management Trainees) for 2013-14 to the 21 participating organizations has since been completed. Candidates are being intimated individually through sms at the mobile number mentioned by them in the online application form for CWE PO/MT-II. Allotment has been done based on meril-cum-preference keeping in view the spirit of various guidelines issued by Govt, of India/Others from time to time. The following table indicates the category-wise maximum and minimum scores (combined scores in CWE and Interview out of 100) for allotment. In the event of two or more candidates having obtained the same score, merit order is decided as per date of birth (the candidate senior in age is placed before the candidate junior in age).

(1)  The allotment is subject to the candidate fulfilling the criteria for Participating Organisations and identity verification to the satisfaction of allotted organisation. This does not constitute an offer of employment.
(2)  In case it is delected that  the candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria at any stage of the recruitment process his/her candidature/ chance in the process shall stand forfeited.
(3)  Offer of appointment including terms and conditions, formalities for verification, joining etc. will be issued from the allotted Participating Organisation in due course. Candidates may approach the respective organisation only after hearing from the said organisation.
(4)  If the candidate does not avail the offer/ appointment from the allotted Participating Organisation his/her candidature/ chance in the process shall stand forfeited.
