IN wake of more than 60% MBA scats remaining vacant, there are speculations that the Association of Management of MBA/MMS Institutes (AMMI) may conduct third Common Entrance Test (CET) in first week of August 2013. The cutoff dale set by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) for MBA/PGDM Admissions is August 10. 2013. AMMI conducted MBA CET on   June 16, 2013 and July 28. 2013. Around 558 MBA aspi-ranis appeared from 20 MBA colleges, departments in Nagpur. Bhandara. Gondia. Wardha and Chandrapur.

Institute Level seats are 414. AMMI CET is beneficial to MBA aspirants who could not appear for All  India Council  for Technical Education (AICTE) conducted Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) in September 2012. February and May 2013. Similarly, it is useful for MBA Colleges/Departments to admit students for Institute Level Seats or against CAP Admissions. Ironically, after CAP admissions there were cancellations from students who failed in graduation as they were disqualified for MBA admission.

Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM) and RTMNU Departmem of Business Management (DBM) do not participate in AMMI CET as their admissions are filled through DTE Centralized Admissions Process (CAP). Shri Ramdeobaba Collegeof Engineering and Management (RCOEM)and NIT Graduate School of Management (NIT GSM) have 100^ admissions. With CET III in August 2013, MBA Colleges and Departments are hoping to fill vacant seats as hopefully University results will be declared by then.

ASSOCIATION of Maharashtra Management Institutes (AMMI) conducted MBA CET (Entrance Test) will he held from 11 am 10 I pm on Sunday. The CET is for those candidates who could not appear for AICTE conducted by Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT).

Most of MBA colleges/institutes are participating in AMMI MBA CET. AMMI Exam Center will be a non-Management leaching college/institute. The results will he declared on June 26.

Management colleges/institutes can admit Students through AMMI CET only after Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Central Admission Process (CAP) rounds are over.

ASSOCIATION of Maharashtra Management Institutes (AMMI) will be conducting Entrance Test for MBA/PGDBM courses on June 16. Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) and Pravesh Niyantran Samiti (PNS) have approved AMMI CET for the year 2013.

The sale of AMMI prospectus and forms began at all Management Institutes from May 13. The last date for submission of forms for AMMI CET is June 14. The CET will be held from II am to 1.30 pm at various Management Institutes on June 16. This will be followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) from 2.30 pm. The result of CET will be declared on June 26.

The move assumes significance backdrop of events in the couple of last year, when close lo 15,000 (Fifteen Thousand) MBA/MMS seals remained vacant even after the DTE CAP rounds. This year about 1,60,260 students appeared for first two CMAT entrance test and 1.58.599 students are eligible for written test and about 67000 students are appearing for 3rd CMAT entrance test to be held between May 19, 2013 to May 22, 2013. This year 3,85,008 (Three lakh Eighty Five Thousand Eight) seats are

available for MBA in all over India. But even 50 per cent students arc not yet appeared for CMAT test because of lack of awareness

of CMAT which is held from this year and therefore, AMMI will gel more students.

Last year AMMI admitted about 12,500 students in Maharashtra. There are 45,570 MBA seals in Maharashtra. AMMI expect the DTE's Centralised Admission Process (CAP) process would result in filling up of the most 30,000 seats. The remaining seats would be available for AMMI's test and admission process.

असोसिएशन ऑफ एमबीए, एमएमएस इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ महाराष्ट्रतर्फे (अमी) आयोजित एमबीएची सीईटी परीक्षा १६ जून रोजी होणार असून असोसिएशनच्या माध्यमातून ५0 टक्के विद्यार्थ्यांचे प्रवेश एमबीएला होणार आहेत, अशी माहिती असोसिएशनचे अध्यक्ष डॉ. एकनाथ खेडकर यांनी पत्रकार परिषदेत दिली.
