IIM Kozhikode has decided to roll back tuition fees for its flagship postgraduate programme (PGP) by Rs 30,000 to protect students from the inflationary pressures in the economy. "During the last two years student loan rates have increased between two to four per cent per-annum putting additional burden on students. The marginal reduction of Rs 30,000 (3% of the fee) will be implemented from the year 2012-13 onwards as a proactive step to support higher education," said Debashis Chatterjee, director, IIM Kozhikode. The institute also announced new scholarships for students.
