Candidate appearing in final year of the prescribed essential qualifying educational qualification examination mentioned against each discipline may also apply. However, if they are shortlisted for personal interview, based on GATE-2014 scores and other criteria, they may be allowed to attend personal interview only if they possess the prescribed qualifying essential educational qualification with first division (Minimum 65% Marks) on the date of their personal interview, failing which they will not be allowed to attend personal interview and no TA will be admissible to such candidates.

The candidates who want to apply for above positions will have to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE-2014) for GATE-2014 paper as per detailed given in following PDF File.

Based on the GATE-2014 score and other requirements, candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interview ordinarily at the ratio of 1:5 (i.e. five times the number of vacancies). Candidates have to secure minimum qualifying marks in the interview.

    Educational  qualifications Details For TGT Primary School TEACHERS recruitment 2013  :(i)  A pass in Higher Secondary or its equivalent with 50 % marks in aggregate; and (ii)  Diploma in Teacher Education or Certificate in Basic Teacher’s Training of a duration of not less than 2 years offered by an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education. The minimum academic qualification for admission to the Diploma in Teacher Education or Certificate in Basic Teachers Training should be Higher Secondary or its equivalent; and(iii)  Should have studied the particular Regional language (Tamil / Malayalam / Telugu) as one of the subjects  upto Secondary level or as one of the subjects in the D.T.Ed Course or studied Diploma in Teacher Education / Certificate in Basic Teacher’s Training in the relevant medium of instruction.

    The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 came into force w.e.f.01.04.2010 (here in after called the said Act).
    In accordance with the provisions under section 38 of the said Act., the Odisha Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules,2010 ( here in after called in the said rules) has been notified by the State Government vide Notification No. 17291/SME, Dated. 27.09.2010 and came into force w.e.f. 18,h October, 2010.
    The said Act proposes to provide free and Compulsory Education to every child of the age group of 6 to 14 years.

    SC/ ST/ PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. However, for claiming exemption in application fee by SC/ ST candidates, they have to attach an attested copy of SC/ ST certificate as applicable, issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format and PWD candidates claiming exemption in application fees will have to attach an attested copy of disability certificate in the prescribed format issued by Competent Authority at the time of forwarding application form as mentioned below.
