Bank Recruitment's 2012 - Public sector banks offering great employment opportunities

The public sector banking space is offering great employment opportunities in the country. In last six weeks around 9 banks have made announcements for recruitments.

The major reason behind the surge in the demand of manpower is that majority of the staff at public sector banks is on the verge of retirement. The expansions plan of the banks has also made it necessary for them to recruit candidates. 

The 9 banks have announced to recruit around 10,000 candidates and other public sector banks are still to make announcements. The banks are considering the scores that the candidates have secured in the Common Written Exam (CWE) which was conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS).

The banks have specified their eligibility criteria and the cut-off scores. The candidates satisfying the requirements can apply for the post at the respective bank. 

Around 1.10 lac candidates were declared successful in the CWE. The scorecards of the successful candidates have already been dispatched.
